Project: Brought in-house for my expertise in the outdoor industry, I took the lead on developing a comprehensive color plan across multiple product categories, as well as the design of all packaging types for a massive pitch to Target. The resulting presentation landed well with the buyers and ultimately knocked the competition off the shelves in the Sporting Goods section nationwide. The full product line included backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, camping chairs, and more, resulting in a new multi-million dollar account for Exxel Outdoors. I prepared specification packs for the international vendors making the backpacks and a detailed packaging guide for the Colorado brand team, so they could flush out the packaging for all items. The brand's success paved the way for pitches in other departments, including back-to-school, for which I created a color & trend report.
